Cookie Notice

This notice supplements Privacy Policy (see its section 7).
1. What cookies are
1.1 Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage — store data in your browser in the same way. This notice covers all of them.
1.2 They are used here to keep you signed in, to keep the Site secure, and to remember a small number of preferences.
2. What moneytradingacademy.com uses cookies for
2.1 MTA uses cookies in two categories only:
- Essential — the Site cannot work without them. They keep you signed in, protect the sign-in and payment flows against attack, and let MTA's payment processor detect fraud. These cannot be turned off while you use the Site.
- Functional — they remember a preference you set, such as light or dark appearance. Turning these off means the Site forgets your preference.
2.2 MTA does not use advertising cookies, marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, social-media pixels, or any cross-site tracking technology. MTA does not build advertising profiles and does not sell or share personal information for advertising — see Privacy Policy sections 9.2 and 13.5.
2.3 MTA does not currently use any web-analytics product (such as Google Analytics) on the Site.
3. The cookies MTA sets

3.1 Where a value is stored in your browser's local storage rather than as a cookie — the appearance preference above — it is not sent with every request, but it is controlled the same way: clearing site data removes it.
3.2 What the Site does NOT set, as of the date above:
- No advertising, analytics or tracking cookie of any kind, from anyone;
- no payment cookies — there is no payment page on the Site yet (section 4);
- no separate anti-forgery cookie — the Site's form protection does not use one;
- no multi-factor cookie — MTA does not currently operate a second authentication factor.
3.3 Live sessions run in Zoom, which sets its own cookies on its own domains when you join, under its own policy. Those are not set by moneytradingacademy.com. See section 4.
4. Third parties that may set cookies through the Site

4.2 MTA does not permit any third party to use cookies set through the Site for that third party's own advertising.
5. Notice, not a consent banner — and when that changes
5.1 MTA currently uses only essential and functional cookies, and no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. For that combination, a clear notice like this one is the mechanism MTA relies on; there is no accept/reject banner, because there is nothing to reject other than cookies that make the Site work.
5.2 This changes the moment MTA adds any of the following, and a consent mechanism must be assessed before the addition goes live:
- any web-analytics product;
- any advertising or conversion pixel (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit and similar);
- any retargeting or cross-site tracking;
- any embedded third-party content that tracks visitors;
- any customer who is outside the United States, since EU/UK rules require prior consent for non-essential cookies regardless of where the business is.
6. How to control cookies yourself
6.1 Every browser lets you see, delete and block cookies. The relevant settings are usually under Privacy or Security:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data
- Safari — Settings → Privacy (desktop: Preferences → Privacy)
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
- iOS / Android — the browser app's own settings
6.2 Blocking or clearing essential cookies will sign you out, and will interrupt a password reset in progress. The Site cannot keep you signed in without them.
6.3 Clearing site data also clears your saved preferences — appearance and sidebar state.
6.4 Blocking third-party cookies specifically is safe on the Site today. It may interfere with the payment pages once card checkout is live (section 4).
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
7.1 MTA does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because no uniform standard for them exists and MTA does no tracking for them to stop.
7.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC). MTA does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no such activity for a GPC signal to opt out of.
8. Changes to this notice
8.1 This notice is versioned like MTA's other policies — see Terms of Service section 24.
8.2 This notice must be updated whenever MTA adds, removes or changes a cookie, or adds any third party that sets one. Adding tracking or advertising cookies is a material change.
