Refund & Cancellation Policy

Document: Refund & Cancellation Policy · Version: 1.0.0 · Effective date: 2026-08-20

This policy is part of the Terms of Service (see its section 13). Where this policy and the Terms both address refunds, they must say the same thing — if they ever diverge, this policy controls.

1. Scope

1.1 This policy covers everything you can buy from Money Trading Academy LLC ("MTA") at moneytradingacademy.com:

  • an admission-based Course — a Course taught in scheduled Classes (section 3);
  • an open Course — a self-paced Course with no Class (section 4);
  • the Membership — the recurring subscription (section 12).

1.2 Terms used here have the meanings given in Terms of Service section 2.

1.3 This policy applies to voluntary purchases from MTA. It does not limit any right you have under law that cannot be waived by agreement.

2. The rule, in one paragraph

2.1 A refund is either the full amount you paid, or nothing. Whether you get one depends on the product and on timing or consumption — and not on who ended the relationship.

2.2 The same conditions apply whether you ask to leave, you ask for a refund, MTA removes you from a Class, or MTA Blocks your account. MTA does not have one rule for people who quit and another for people it removes.

ProductRefundable only ifNever refundable
Admission-based Course (has Classes)the request or removal happens within 14 days of the Class's START DATEafter day 14 of the Class
Open Course (no Classes)you have consumed less than 25% of the Materials, per MTA's server-side records25% or more consumed
Membership (recurring)see section 12 — no refund of a period already charged—

2.3 FULL REFUNDS ONLY. MTA does not offer partial refunds, pro-rata refunds, credit for unused weeks, or account credit in place of a refund.

3. Admission-based Courses — 14 days from the Class start date

3.1 Your purchase of a Seat in a Class is refundable only if MTA receives your request, or MTA removes you or Blocks you, on or before the 14th day after that Class's published start date.

3.2 THE 14 DAYS RUN FROM THE CLASS START DATE — NOT FROM THE DATE YOU APPLIED, WERE ADMITTED, OR PAID. The window is a property of the Class, not of you.

3.3 If you pay before the Class starts, you are inside the window automatically, and remain inside it until day 14 after the start date.

3.4 On day 15 and after, your purchase is not refundable — for any reason within this policy, including if MTA later removes you from the Class or Blocks your account.

3.5 The 14-day window is measured to the end of the day, Eastern Time. All MTA dates and times are Eastern Time.

4. Open Courses — under 25% consumed

4.1 Your purchase of an open Course is refundable only if, at the time of the request or removal, you have consumed less than 25% of that Course's Materials.

4.2 MTA'S OWN SERVER-SIDE RECORDS GOVERN. Consumption is measured from records MTA computes and stores on its servers from your actual use of the Materials. Progress reported by your browser, your device, or you is not used to decide refund eligibility, and MTA's server-side records are authoritative.

4.3 You can see your own recorded progress for every Course in your account at any time, so you can check where you stand before you ask.

4.4 Once MTA's records show 25% or more consumed, the purchase is not refundable — including if MTA later Blocks your account.

4.5 What "consumed" means. MTA measures consumption as the number of Course items you have completed, divided by the number of items in that Course that can be completed. An item counts as completed when:

  • a lesson or Material — you open it; or
  • a quiz — you submit it, whether or not you pass.

A Live Session counts on neither side of that fraction — it is excluded from both the numerator and the denominator — because MTA does not track attendance. So a Course of 10 items, 3 of which are Live Sessions, is measured out of 7.

4.5.1 These records are append-only: once an item is recorded as completed it stays completed. Opening an item is irreversible for this purpose, so if you are considering a refund, check your progress in your account before you open anything further.

5. LATE JOINERS — YOU MAY HAVE NO REFUND RIGHT AT ALL

READ THIS BEFORE YOU PAY FOR A CLASS THAT HAS ALREADY STARTED.

5.1 Because the refund window in section 3 runs from the Class start date, a student who joins a Class after it has started has less than the full 14 days remaining — and a student who joins more than 14 days after the Class start date has no refund right at all.

5.2 Example: a 10-week Class starts on 1 September. A student admitted and paying in week 5 is already past day 14. Their purchase is non-refundable from the moment they pay.

5.3 BY APPLYING TO, AND PAYING FOR, A CLASS THAT HAS ALREADY STARTED, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOUR PURCHASE MAY BE ENTIRELY NON-REFUNDABLE, AND YOU WAIVE ANY EXPECTATION OF A REFUND ON THAT BASIS.

5.4 This is not buried in the Terms: where the Class you are paying for has already started, MTA shows this disclaimer at the point of payment and asks you to acknowledge it separately before the payment can proceed. MTA records that acknowledgement with your purchase.

5.5 If you are not comfortable with this, do not pay — ask MTA about the next Class instead.

6. What is never refundable

6.1 A purchase outside the windows in sections 3 and 4.

6.2 Any part of a Class you did attend, or any Material already released to you — there is no pro-rata calculation (section 2.3).

6.3 A Membership period already charged (section 12).

6.4 Amounts you did not pay MTA — for example the value of a discount, or third-party costs such as your internet connection, your broker, your data feed, or your trading platform.

6.5 Trading losses. MTA sells education, not trading results. Losses you incur trading are never a ground for a refund. See Risk Disclosure & Trading Disclaimer.

6.6 Dissatisfaction with market outcomes, with an instructor's opinion, or with the performance of the Money Level Signal indicator is not a ground for a refund outside the windows above.

6.7 A cancelled, rescheduled or shortened Live Session does not by itself create a refund right — see Terms of Service sections 11.4 and 11.5.

6.8 If MTA cancels a Class outright. Where MTA cancels a Class before delivering it, or abandons one part-way through and does not deliver the rest, MTA will, at its option, either refund the amount you actually paid for that Seat in full, or transfer your Seat to another run of the same Course at no further charge. That is your sole and exclusive remedy — see Terms of Service section 11.7. Contact moneytradingacademy.infra@gmail.com.

6.8.1 This is the one case where a refund does not depend on the windows in sections 3 and 4. It applies because MTA did not deliver, not because you changed your mind.

7. Refunds where MTA removes you or Blocks you

7.1 MTA denies, suspends or Blocks access only for a violation of the Terms of Service, notifies you by email, and lets you appeal to moneytradingacademy.infra@gmail.com — see Terms of Service section 16.

7.2 Being Blocked does not by itself entitle you to a refund, and does not by itself take one away. The tests in sections 3 and 4 are applied exactly as they would be if you had asked to leave.

7.3 Your purchases are retained. A Block does not cancel or delete what you bought. Products stay recorded on your account, and if MTA reinstates your access, MTA restores them. Your former place in a Class is not restored.

7.4 Where a Block or removal happens inside the window in section 3 or 4, MTA refunds that item in full and releases the Seat. Any other products you hold are retained, not refunded.

7.5 Giving MTA false or incomplete information is a violation of the Terms (see Terms of Service section 4.4 and Acceptable Use Policy section 2). If MTA Blocks you on that ground, you lose access to all Materials and products you hold that are not eligible for a refund under this policy.

8. If you want to leave a Class

8.1 Write to moneytradingacademy.infra@gmail.com from the email address on your account, saying which Class you want to leave and whether you are requesting a refund.

8.2 The date MTA receives your request is the date used to test eligibility under section 3 — not the date you stopped attending, and not the date MTA processes it.

8.3 MTA will remove you from the Class. Removal from a Class does not affect your access to the Site or to anything else you have bought.

8.4 Your Seat returns to the Class and may be given to someone else.

9. How a refund is paid

9.1 Refunds are issued the way the money came to MTA — to the original payment method, or by the reverse of whatever method you used. MTA cannot send a refund to a different card, a different account, or a different person.

9.2 MTA refunds the amount you actually paid, after any discount — not the list price. See Discount & Promotion Terms section 9.

9.3 If your card has expired or been closed, your card issuer normally credits your replacement card or pays you directly. That part is between you and your issuer. In the rare case where the refund fails, contact moneytradingacademy.infra@gmail.com and MTA will arrange an alternative payout.

9.4 MTA will not issue the same refund twice. A purchase already refunded is not refunded again.

10. Timing

10.1 MTA aims to decide a refund request within 5 business days of receiving it, and to submit an approved refund to Stripe within 5 business days of the decision.

10.2 After MTA submits it, the time for the money to appear on your statement is set by your bank or card issuer — typically 5 to 10 business days. MTA does not control that.

10.3 A refund made shortly after the original charge may appear as the original charge disappearing from your statement rather than as a separate credit.

11. Chargebacks and disputes

11.1 Please contact moneytradingacademy.infra@gmail.com before disputing a charge with your bank. Most problems — a duplicate charge, a payment that did not unlock access, a wrong amount — are fixed faster directly.

11.2 If a dispute or chargeback is already open on a payment, MTA will not also refund it, because that would pay you twice. MTA will respond through the dispute process instead.

11.3 Filing a chargeback for a purchase that is not refundable under this policy may be treated as a violation of the Terms of Service; see Acceptable Use Policy section 7.

12. Membership (recurring subscription)

PLANNED PRODUCT — NOT YET SOLD THROUGH THE SITE.

12.1 The Membership is charged in advance and renews automatically until you cancel. See Terms of Service section 12.

12.2 You may cancel at any time, yourself, from your account — in no more steps than it took to subscribe.

12.3 CANCELLATION ENDS YOUR ACCESS IMMEDIATELY. There is no grace period and you do not keep access for the remainder of the period you have paid for. This is disclosed before you subscribe and again before you confirm cancellation.

12.4 A period already charged is not refunded and is not pro-rated. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not reverse the current one.

12.5 MTA does not charge a cancellation fee.

12.6 Cancelling your Membership does not affect a Course you have bought — a Course is a separate, one-time purchase.

13. The version that applies to your purchase

13.1 The version of this policy in force when you paid governs that purchase. If MTA later changes the refund window or the consumption threshold, your purchase keeps the terms it was made under.

13.2 The refund conditions in force at the time of a purchase are recorded with that purchase, so they can be applied to it later without ambiguity.

13.3 How versions and changes work — including 30 days' notice and, for adverse changes, affirmative re-acceptance — is in Terms of Service section 24.

13.4 You can see every version of this policy you accepted, and the exact text, from your account.
