Discount & Promotion Terms
Document: Discount & Promotion Terms · Version: 1.0.0 · Effective date: 2026-08-20
These terms are part of the Terms of Service (see its section 14).
DISCOUNT CODES ARE NOT YET IN OPERATION (reconciled 2026-08-20). The Site has no code system — no codes to issue, no field to enter one, and no checkout to enter it into. Where MTA offers a reduced or special price today, staff set that price on the Seat directly. Sections 2–7 and 9–10 describe codes and take effect if and when they exist. Section 8 (complimentary and special-price access) applies now, and so does section 3.4 — MTA already runs the same Course at different prices for different groups.
1. Scope
1.1 These terms apply to every discount code, promotional code, promotion, special price and free access that Money Trading Academy LLC ("MTA") offers.
1.2 A specific promotion may add its own conditions — an expiry date, a named Class, an amount, a limit on uses. Where a promotion's own stated conditions differ from these terms, the promotion's conditions apply to that promotion.
2. What a discount code is — and is not
2.1 A discount code is a limited, revocable permission to buy a specified MTA product at a reduced price. It is not property, not currency, and not a credit balance.
2.2 Codes have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, refunded, redeemed for credit, or applied after a purchase has been completed.
2.3 Codes are personal to the person MTA gave them to, and are not transferable. Do not share, publish, post, sell, or forward a code. Codes are not for resale and may not be listed on coupon or deal sites.
2.4 A code is valid only for the product, Class or plan MTA issued it for, only within its stated period, and only while MTA keeps it active.
2.5 MTA tracks which account used which code.
3. Class-specific codes
3.1 Some codes are issued for one specific Class — for example a private or special-price group.
3.2 A Class-specific code is valid only for that Class. Using it — or attempting to use it — for a different Class is not permitted.
3.3 MTA cross-checks the code used against the Class the purchase was for. Where they do not match, MTA may cancel the discount, charge the correct price, cancel the purchase and refund the amount paid, or treat the use as a violation of the Terms of Service — see section 7.
3.4 Prices differ between Classes. Learning that another Class paid a different price does not entitle you to that price, and is not a ground for a refund or an adjustment.
4. How codes are applied
4.1 A code must be entered at checkout, before you pay. MTA cannot apply a code to a payment that has already been made.
4.2 One code per purchase. Codes cannot be combined, stacked, or applied on top of another discount or an already-reduced price, unless MTA states otherwise for that promotion.
4.3 The discount is applied to the product price. Any applicable tax is calculated on the discounted amount and shown before you pay.
4.4 Unless MTA states otherwise, a code may be used once per person.
4.5 A code applied to the recurring Membership discounts only the billing periods MTA states. Unless MTA says the discount is permanent, the Membership renews at the standard price after the discounted period ends. MTA discloses this before you subscribe, with the renewal price and date.
5. MTA may change or withdraw a code at any time
5.1 MTA may deactivate, expire, suspend, restrict or change any code at any time, at its discretion, including before its stated expiry date, and including for reasons of abuse.
5.2 MTA may limit the total number of uses of a code, the number of uses per person, and which products, Classes or plans it applies to.
5.3 MTA may end a promotion at any time.
5.4 A deactivated code does not affect a purchase already completed with it. What you already bought at a discounted price stays bought at that price.
5.5 MTA is not obliged to honor a code that has been deactivated, expired, shared, published, or was never issued to you.
6. Errors
6.1 If a price, discount or code is displayed in error, MTA may correct the error and decline or cancel the affected purchase, even after a confirmation has been sent. If MTA cancels on this ground, MTA refunds you in full.
6.2 A pricing or discount error does not oblige MTA to sell at the incorrect price.
7. Misuse
7.1 The following are violations of the Terms of Service:
- using a code that was not issued to you;
- using a Class-specific code for a different Class;
- sharing, publishing, posting, selling or reselling a code;
- creating more than one account, or using another person's account, to reuse a code;
- misrepresenting your eligibility for a discount; and
- using automated means to find, generate or test codes.
7.2 Where MTA identifies misuse it may, at its discretion and in any combination:
- refuse or reverse the discount and charge the correct price;
- cancel the purchase and refund what you paid;
- deactivate the code for everyone;
- withdraw your access to the product bought with the code; and
- Block your account under Terms of Service section 16 — with email notice and an appeal to moneytradingacademy.infra@gmail.com.
7.3 Where MTA cancels a purchase for code misuse, any refund is governed by Refund & Cancellation Policy — except where MTA cancels the purchase entirely under 7.2 and returns what you paid.
8. Free, complimentary and special-price access
This section is in force today — it is how reduced and free access actually works, with or without a code system.
8.0 MTA may set any price it chooses for any Seat, including zero, and may offer the same Course at different prices to different Classes and different people. A price offered to you creates no entitlement to that price later, and no entitlement for anyone else (section 3.4).
8.1 MTA gives free access to staff, family, and designated people at its discretion.
8.2 Complimentary access is a revocable permission, not a purchase. It may be withdrawn at any time, carries no refund right, and is subject to the same Terms, licence and conduct rules as a paid product — see Course & Content Licence and Acceptable Use Policy.
8.3 MTA does not offer public free trials. If MTA introduces one, its terms — including what happens when it ends and whether it converts to a paid plan — will be stated with the offer.
9. Refunds on a discounted purchase
9.1 If a discounted purchase is refunded, MTA refunds the amount you actually paid — not the list price and not the value of the discount.
9.2 A used code is not restored when a purchase is refunded, and MTA is not obliged to issue a replacement.
9.3 Refund eligibility is decided under Refund & Cancellation Policy in the ordinary way. A discount does not change the refund window or the consumption threshold, and a discounted purchase is not treated as final-sale for that reason.
10. Taxes
10.1 Where MTA is required to collect sales or similar tax, it is calculated on the discounted price and shown at checkout. Any tax consequence of receiving a discount or complimentary access is yours.
11. Changes to these terms
11.1 These terms are versioned like MTA's other policies — see Terms of Service section 24. The version in force when you paid governs that purchase.
